Anker Hotel is located in the beautiful Grünerløkka district of Oslo, less than 15 minutes’ walk from the main street Karl Johan and gives you a unique experience from the different parts of Oslo. Grünerløkka has grown to be one of Oslo’s most popular parts, with many shops, restaurants and bars surrounded by green parks and other attractions. Concert arenas like Oslo Spektrum, Sentrum Scene and Rockefeller is located only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
Our unique location makes it easy to make sustainable travel choices, and we encourage all our guests to explore the city on foot or to use the city’s public transportation. The city’s trams and subways are emission-free and run on certified renewable electricity. You can also travel affordably and environmentally friendly in Oslo with Oslo City Bike.

You can take the Airport Express Train or VY local train from Oslo Airport Gardemoen to Oslo Central Station. This journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Outside of Oslo S you can take tram number 11 or 12 (direction Kjelsås), and tram 17 or 18 (direction Grefsen). Exit the tram at Nybrua, and you will see Anker Hotel on the left side of the street. This journey takes four minutes. If you arrive at Torp Airport you will find direct buses to Oslo Bus Terminal outside the airport. .Most buses arrive at Oslo Bus Terminal. You will find a taxi stop here. A tram stop can be found in front of Oslo Central station, which is located next to the Bus Terminal. Take tram number 11 or 12 (direction Kjelsås), and tram 17 or 18 (direction Grefsen). Exit the tram at Nybrua, and you will see Anker Hotel on the left side of the street. This journey takes four minutes. Walking distance from Oslo Bus Terminal to Anker Hotel is 7 – 10 minutes.

Oslo Central Station is the closest train station to Anker Hotel. From here you can take tram number 11 or 12 (direction Kjelsås), and tram 17 or 18 (direction Grefsen). Exit the tram at Nybrua, and you will see Anker Hotel on the left side of the street. This journey takes four minutes. Walking distance from Oslo Central Station to Anker Hotel is 7 – 10 minutes.

As you arrive Oslo at E18, you will come to a traffic machine next to the new Opera building. Take the road towards Gjøvik (Road number 4). After a few hundred meters at this road, drive straight ahead in the first roundabout, take a left turn in the second roundabout. After 50 metres in this street called Hausmanns gate, take a right turn in the first traffic light, on to Christian Krogh’s street. Follow this street until the end and you will see Anker Hotel straight ahead. The hotel is situated 20 meters to the left of the hotel. We have indoor and outdoor parking spaces available. A ticket must be purchased at the ticket machine.
