Anker Hotel is located at Storgata 55. The hotel is easily accessible from Oslo S by public transport and taxi, and less than 15 minutes’ walk from the main street Karl Johan. We are located trendy Grünerløkka, with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. Concert arenas like Oslo Spektrum, Sentrum Scene and Rockefeller is located only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
Our front desk is open 24-hour, and there is always someone there to help you with anything before, after or during your stay with us.
Check-in starts from 15:00, and our check-out time is 11:00 on the departure day. The room must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure. Checkout later than this will be charged with an additional fee. If the room is prepaid or you don’t need a receipt, you can leave your keycard in the Express Check Out box on the reception desk.
Rooms can be booked with or without breakfast. Wi-Fi is always included!
Yes. We have newly renovated conference facilities with 7 meeting rooms of different sizes, where the smallest room is for up to 10 guests, and our biggest room can hold up to 160 guests. Please contact the front desk for availability. Read more about our conference facilities here

Checking in/out

Check-in starts from 15:00, and our check-out time is 11:00 on the departure day.
As our front desk is open 24 hours, a late arrival is no problem. If you arrive after midnight, please let us know.
You can book an early check-in for an additional fee. We also have a luggage room that you can use free of charge before check-in.
You can book a late check-out for an additional fee. You can then access the room until 14:00 on the departure day.
Yes, we have a luggage room that you can use free of charge. The room is always locked, but please note that all our guests can access this room if needed. Therefore, we recommend that you do not keep your valuables in the luggage room. Please see our front desk and they will help you with storage.

Information about your stay

Yes, we have indoor and outdoor parking facilities. The price is 340 NOK for 24 hours, or you can pay per hour. Tickets must be purchased from the ticket machine. The parking facilities is run by Aimo Park.

Our fully licensed bar is located in the lobby, next to the reception area. The bar is open Wednesday - Thursday 15:30 - 23:00 and Friday-Saturday 16:00 - 24:00.
All common credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club is accepted.
Stamps can be bought at the front desk. You can also leave your mail here. Mail will be forwarded to the post office every weekday at 11:30 am.
Hot and cold drinks, bottled water, snacks are available to purchase from the front desk/bar.
To change foreign currency, please contact the front desk for further information. Closest exchange office is about ten minutes’ walk from the hotel.
Additional toiletries such as shaving kit, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, earplugs, sewing kit, towels, pillows, duvets and extension cords are available in the front desk.
Safe deposit boxes are available in the hotel reception. Please contact the front desk. The hotel cannot take any responsibility for valuables left in the room.
For laundry/dry cleaning on weekdays, please hand in your laundry before 8 am. Laundry handed in after this will be delivered the following day. Pricelist and laundry bag you will get from the front desk. Please note that there is no laundry service on weekends.
The reception staff will assist with photocopying. The price for photocopying is 2 NOK per sheet.

Safety: For your own safety we kindly ask you to read the emergency instructions found by the door. Please note where your nearest fire exit is located. In case of fire, please close the guest room door behind you when evacuating.
  • Valuables: Safe deposit boxes are available in the hotel reception. Please contact the front desk. The hotel cannot take any responsibility for valuables left in the room.
  • Kettles are available to borrow from the front desk.
  • Coffee and tea are included.
  • Ironing room can be found in the lobby area.
  • Mechanical fans are available at the front desk.

If you have booked directly through our website or with us by phone or email, you can cancel free of charge up until 24 hours before the arrival day. Please note that if you have booked through another agent the cancellation policy may vary.
Wi-Fi is always included and is available in all rooms and common areas.
You can book rooms with or without breakfast. Breakfast is served between 06:00 - 10:00 Monday to Friday, and 07:00 - 11:00 Saturday and Sunday. If you have booked a room without breakfast, it's not too late to change your mind - access to the breakfast restaurant can be purchased at the reception.
Yes, we have a wide selection of allergy friendly products in our breakfast buffet. This includes different sorts of bread and dairy products. All the food is marked so that you know which allergens they contain. Please see our staff for further assistance during your stay.
Our age limit is 18 for guests that are travelling alone without parents/guardians.
